To apply you must be at least 21 years of age.
Please be aware that DEPENDABILITY for investigations is MANDATORY!! EPIC is looking for individuals whose schedules are flexible & who are willing to dedicate time & effort into scientific research & investigating. Our investigations are mainly performed on the weekends. Depending on the case, out of state travel is expected. All personal information that you supply EPIC Paranormal with will be kept strictly confidential and will also be kept on file for yearly performance reviews.
EPIC memberships may be bound by one or several of the following terms:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- It is protocol that each member attends investigations, and monthly meetings on a regular basis.
- Must have flexible weekend availability for research & investigations.
- It is required for each member to be able to travel in state and out of state if need be.
- Must be willing to help assist in team protocols in diversified areas including but not limited to field research and article contributions.
- Must have dependable transportation with a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to professionally conduct interviews with clients, and anyone that can validate tangible case information.
- It is required that you have basic knowledge on how to perform record searches with local authorities, courthouses, educational institutions, financial institutions, medical providers, and mental health facilities in areas that will assist with case file research.
- Must have internet access for e-mail, group discussions via the net and to help with file research.
- It is required to work with senior members for your training and evaluations on retention of knowledge.
- Must know basic & advanced knowledge of the paranormal field, equipment use, it’s theories, and investigative methodology before released from probation period (90-days)
- Meet additional qualifications for pre acceptance.
Additional Qualifications:
- Cannot have been diagnosed with any psychological or physiological disorder affecting perception, judgment or memory and cannot be currently taking any medication for treatment of mental disorders.
- Cannot have a history or currently be using or addicted to any narcotics or recreational (illegal) drugs (including prescription drugs which have not been prescribed to you). This includes but is not limited to OTC medication misuse, i e: sleep aides, allergy meds, etc.
- EPIC Paranormal requires a minimum of 2 references from either your present/previous employer, friends, or persons who you are NOT related to.
To be considered for pre-approval, each member candidate must have certain attributes they must be able to pay close attention to detail, have multi-tasking skills, and to think independently.
*NOTE* we are a non profit organization. We are in the process of filing for non-profit certification. Each EPIC member joins on a volunteer basis. Click the link below and take your time in filling out the E-Z Form application, and following the instructions. We will reply via e-mal if selected. Please note that if you have not heard from us within 30 days, it means that you were not selected at this time however we will keep you on file for six months if positions reopen. All personal information will be kept strictly confidential to all outside sources.
