Circus.jpg (22273 bytes) This picture was contributed to the EPIC website by Kerri (Pebsncam1@aol.com)

Analysis:

This picture is a perfect example of dust orbs. Obviously at a circus, many people are moving around, kicking up dirt and dust, and the flash of the camera illuminated this little particle.  -  Jason

ygpF3D2.jpg (94793 bytes) This picture was contributed to the EPIC website by Wtamidoinghere@aol.com

Analysis:

This picture is a bit unusual to me. At first glance, it looks like smoke, but it appears to be too concentrated over the person in red. The contributor of this photo said that nobody was smoking, and it was a cool night, but not cold enough for breath to be seen as vapor. It could be an unusual lens flare, but I'm not sure.  -  Jason

Night Pic.jpg (52488 bytes) This picture was contributed to the EPIC website by Amanda C.

Analysis:

I think this is an unusual picture. But since it was taken at night, I cannot rule out that it is possibly the photographer's breath being caught in the flash.  -  Jason

My name is Rhonda H., I go by "Ronnie". I live in Lincoln, Nebraska. The 3 pics were taken in the Inn at Tortilla Flats Arizona. The first pic of the pool was taken just outside of Lincoln. I have been taking spirit pics for the last 5 years. Don't get as many as I'd like too. Thanks for your time, Rhonda "Ronnie"

Ronnie1.JPG (132943 bytes)     Ronnie2.JPG (202783 bytes)     Ronnie3.JPG (112154 bytes)

Analysis:

I think this is just a case of the flash reflecting back onto the lens, and creating some unusual lens flares. This is most apparent in the middle picture, where you can see a bright flare above the bar (something there is highly reflective) and then subsequent flares.  -  Jason
