The Eastern Paranormal Investigation Center, or EPIC, is a group founded and formed to help individuals, families or businesses who believe they may be experiencing paranormal activity. Based on Staten Island, New York, but servicing all of New York City and the surrounding areas including Upstate NY, New Jersey, Long Island and Connecticut, EPIC Paranormal is made up of like-minded individuals who use a scientific approach and methodology in searching for possible evidence, as well as informing and educating clients as to the possible causes of their experiences, paranormal or otherwise. EPIC is highly respected and well-known in the New York tri-state area, having been invited to investigate such places as The Bridge Café, Sam's Bar & Grill, St. Andrew's Church, The Garibaldi-Meucci Museum, as well as numerous private residential cases. We have been featured on NBC Channel 4 News, NY1 News, The New York Times, The New York Daily News, The Village Voice, TAPS Paramagazine, NY Metro, The Gothamist, The Staten Island Advance, and WFMU 91.1 FM.
EPIC Paranormal uses skepticism as a tool, but we will always investigate a case with an open mind. We are always objective upon entering a location. While we try to find proof of your claim, our investigators will always first try to find rational answers to the events that have been suspected as paranormal. We do not look for ghosts. We look for rational explanations. Only when we are left without a rational explanation do we consider a case to possibly be paranormal.
All of the research that EPIC does is conducted with structured investigative methods, as well as integrating the use of sophisticated scientific electronic equipment. We only use scientific measures in our investigations and we never use unreliable or subjective tools such as Ouija boards, mediums or séances as a means to either contact or prove spirit activity.
