The Eastern Paranormal Investigation Center, aka EPIC, is a group founded and formed to research, investigate, and collect data on anomalous phenomena such as paranormal activity. Established on Staten Island, NY, EPIC services all of New York City and the Tri-State area. The team was carefully selected from individuals whose academic backgrounds stem from historical & geological knowledge, photographic & video analysis, and researchers who use a scientific approach and methodology in the collection of data while searching for rational explanations. EPIC is highly respected and well-known for educating and helping individuals and families who experience paranormal activity. While EPIC Paranormal has researched and investigated such historical locations as New York’s Bridge Café and the 300-year-old Church of Saint Andrew, we will always prioritize family and residential cases. Our main mission is to research and collect scientific data to determine the origin and nature of paranormal phenomena
EPIC Paranormal uses skepticism as a tool, while researching and investigating with an open mind. We are always objective upon entering a location. While we try to find supportive data to your claim, our investigators will initially always search for rational explanations to the events that have been suspected as paranormal. We are not “Ghostbusters." We do not look for ghosts. We look for rational explanations. Only when all scientific methods have been exhausted, and are left without a rational explanation do we consider a case to possibly be paranormal in nature.
All of the research that EPIC does is conducted with structured investigative methods, as well as the integrated use of sophisticated scientific equipment. We only use scientific methods on our research & investigations and we never use unreliable or subjective tools such as Ouija boards, dowsing rods, or séances as a means to either contact or search for spirit activity. EPIC will also not rely on the use of psychics, sensitives or mediums, since their abilities can not be scientifically documented.
